AITEO EASTERN Donates 30 Million Naira Worth Of Items To IDPs In Adamawa State

The Adamawa state government has today received assorted items worth about 30 million naira donated by AITEO E & P limited to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Adamawa state as part of the Corporate social Responsibility of the company.

The items were delivered to the Adamawa state government by Barr. Hadiza Aliyu on behalf of the Executive Vice Chairman of AITEO EASTERN, Mr. Benedict Peters. Barr. Hadiza said it has become imparative for well-meaning members of the public to begin to intervene in the situation in the north east as so many people have lost their livelihood and are living from abject poverty and the entire effort cannot be left in the hands of government alone.

Barr. Hadiza said, "Mr. Benedict has always been concerned about the situation of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the north east and he believes charity begins at home." Hadiza noted that Mr. Peters is a Christian from the southern part of Nigeria but he would not sit and feel relaxed because the humanitarian situation is in the north. She said this is just his kind gesture in helping cushion the unbearable effect of the hardship caused by the insurgency.
